What's Hot is coming to txtAgif for iPhone

We have submitted our new iPhone app for review. The new version includes a What's Hot tab to let you see the animated pictures being messaged by people now. Developer API - working with txtAgif

We are encouraged by the popularity of our iPhone app. And would like to see txtAgif expand into other mobile devices, like Android, BB, Windows, Symbian, etc. Thus we have released a free Application Programming Interface (API) for developers. You can access our data within your application using our Application Programming Interface (API). The API is free. Please contact us for more info.

Troubleshooting txtAgif for iPhone App

Dear user,

If you are having trouble using txtAgif on your iPhone, please follow these 2 steps:

1. Check that your phone supports MMS. MMS is available only on iPhone 3G or later. MMS support may not be available in all regions.

2. Turn on MMS Messaging. In Settings, tap Messages, then tap MMS Messaging to turn it on.

If your phone doesn't support MMS, you can email animated pictures using txtAgif. Have fun!

Want My Favorites and Featured lists on iPhone?

We are planning for the next version of our iPhone app. One of the upgrades we are thinking of is to allow user to create a personal favorite list of animated pictures. Step-by-step guide to using txtAgif for iPhone

It's simple to add an animated picture to your MMS using txtAgif for iPhone.

Select an animated picture.

Tap "Text this GIF".

This opens a New Message.

Double tap the text field above the keyboard.

Tap Paste.

Enter recipient.

Tap Send.

You will see the animation in the Messages screen.
